Hosted by Australian Gourmet Traveller’s, Max Veenhuyzen, the Chef’s Cabin Series is a unique chance to gather around the kitchen bench with world class culinary talent (wine glass in hand), pick up some new tips, chat with our hosts and enjoy a   delicious, truffle ladden, tasting portion of each dish.

Tickets are limited to 40 guests only per session to ensure an intimate experience and include a complimentary Festival Village pass!

The Festival Village at idyllic Fonty’s Pool is THE place to smell, taste, buy and learn about black truffle and Southern Forests wine and produce.

Explore and taste your way through the regional marketplace, buy fresh truffles and gourmet products, sample Southern Forests wine, cider and produce, and dig into delicious truffle-laden food. You’ll meet and learn from farmers, truffle growers, winemakers and talented chefs, enjoy live music, cooking and truffle dog demonstrations as well as masterclasses in our bar.

Bringing the kids? We have family activities including a kids truffle science station and the Kid’s Cooking School with Sophie Budd.

With a focus on native, foraged and local foods, Paul Iskov and the team prepare each of the 4 courses in front of you, theatre style, creating a very intimate and exciting food conversation and dining experience.
